Requirements for Final Papers (Lit III and IV)

The final paper should be a monographic essay on one topic and one literary text which we have read throughout the course. For example, the title could be:  "The representation of the savage in Robinson Crusoe" or "Visions of the death of Charles I in Marvell, Lovelace and Philips".
Formulating a thesis statement will come in very handy as well as drawing a mental map and an outline of your ideas.
Your interpretation and careful analysis of the literary text in relation to the topic you chose will be illuminated and completed by evidence taken from the three sources chosen for your mid-term (i.g. representation of savages in other travel chronicles of the time; representation of the death of Charles in images, paintings or historical descriptions). Rememeber that, as in all analytical writing, your ideas should be backed up with specific quotes and this quotes should be commented and explained clearly and thoroughly.
The extension should be 1000-1200 words.
The format is double space with proper citations in MLA style.
The due date is December the 8th (23:59) at the latest.
The final versions will be sent via mail as PDF or Word files or as a Google Drive link. General feedback will be given for all assignments but only Google drive files will recieve direct corrections or notations on the file.
The email by which you send the file should include your name and the course you are attending (Literatura IV or Literatura III) as a subject so that I can file them correctly.
Students taking both courses should send separate mails for each assignment.

Any further questions will be attended via email at:
